I have long held a love for photography.

Capturing moments in time.

Back in the day, before electronic, instant photo gratification, you had to wait days, weeks or months to see how your pictures had turned out. Many families had a well guarded set of voluminous photo albums. Grandma and Grandpa’s wedding, your mother’s first Christmas, your first birthday. Nearly any event that could be captured for posterity would be.

Nowadays, we can check if our friend captured our good side instantly. Don’t like that shot, delete and take another. The strange irony that I have discovered is that we seem to spend less time looking back on the 1TB of photos we have piled onto an external drive, than we did the cumbersome photo albums of yore. I use many photos in my Short Stories and Blog posts, but the ones that I don’t will end up here in some capacity.
